La SESTA TRIENNALE D’ARTE SACRA CONTEMPORANEA,

promossa e organizzata dall’Arcidiocesi di Lecce e dal suo Arcivescovo Monsignor Domenico Umberto D’Ambrosio, per la cura di Toti Carpentieri, e con l’apporto istituzionale della Regione Puglia, della Provincia, del Comune di Lecce e di aziende private, si terrà nell’Antico Seminario di Piazza Duomo dal 30 giugno al 2 settembre 2012.

 

Come nelle passate edizioni, anche nel 2012 la Rassegna si articolerà in tre distinti e contemporanei momenti espositivi:

  1. “Il Mistero e la Speranza”, una mostra omaggio dedicata all’opera di Igor Mitoraj, artista altamente rappresentativo della creatività internazionale, autore tra l’altro delle Porte di Santa Maria degli Angeli a Roma;
  2.  “Exempla. Il Buon Pastore”, una mostra tematica con ventidue opere di altrettanti artisti a livello internazionale: da Mathias Quetglas ad Armando Marrocco, a Omar Galliani, ad Ariel Auslader, a Ennio Calabria, a Floriano Bodini, a Mimmo Paladino;
  3.  il Premio “Paolo VI” 2012, novanta artisti internazionali invitati da direttori di musei, istituzioni e critici d’arte, finalizzato all’acquisizione di opere destinate alla Galleria d’Arte Sacra Contemporanea, ormai una realtà nel panorama artistico nazionale.
